Closetmaid And Rubbermaid Closet Systems – Are They Worth Buying?

Posted by Marylou Biederman in Storage

When it comes to closet organization, there are two names that have been synonymous with convenience and affordability – Closetmaid and Rubbermaid. Of course, there are other big names that are equally popular when it comes to closet organizer systems. However though, their price tags may be far fetched for many households especially in these trying times where a big majority are being frugal in their home improvement costs. Generally, Closetmaid and Rubbermaid, although in direct competition with each other, have both been consistently dominating the closet organizer market this decade.

The Rubbermaid company has been widely known for its big inventory of storage products intended for home, industrial, and commercial uses. When the company expanded its product line to include closet organizer systems, many consumers did not give any second thoughts when buying these Rubbermaid closet systems because they already know the quality of its products.

Closetmaid, on the other hand, has also been specializing in various closet organizing systems since the past decade. With its wide array of models and designs, its products have also been well known around the world due to their affordability and reliability. Closetmaid has also been consistently manufacturing quality and affordable closet systems that have been popular among many consumers.

One thing to note though is that these two brands are both famous for their wire closet organizer product line. These organizers are simple in design, easy to clean, and very durable. Both brands usually cost below $100 for their basic models which come in ready made configurations. However, before you go on buying these custom built packages, you should make sure that you have the dimensions of your closet space. You don’t want to end up with these closet organizers not fitting right. Furthermore, Closetmaid and Rubbermaid also carry a big range of customized closet systems to address bigger needs such as walk-in closets. These systems will definitely cost more than the standard sized models. If you are rather unsure what models or size you will need, all you have to do is ask for assistance from their customer support. Both companies are known to have excellent customer services.

In a nutshell, both closet organizer brands mainly cater to lower budget ranges as compared to other sophisticated and luxury closet systems. However though, one must keep in mind that being non-expensive does not necessarily mean being cheap. So if you are still on the fence pondering if both brands are worth buying or not, do not agonize further. Both are worth buying.
