How to Choose a Small Coffee Maker

Posted by Marylou Biederman in Kitchen, Uncategorized

Many people wake up each morning and the first thing they do is drink their cup of coffee. While they love their coffee, it can sometimes be annoying when they have a big and bulky coffee maker taking up a lot of precious counter space. Fortunately, coffee maker manufacturers know what consumers want and have now made small coffee makers that can brew coffee equal to the largest coffee makers out there. Don’t think for a moment that just because you purchase a small coffee maker to replace your over sized coffee maker that you will sacrifice performance or durability. On the contrary, you will not lose anything at all, as small coffee makers come with all of the popular features that bigger models have except for the larger overall footprint. Most small coffee makers will come with a programmable timer, sneak a cup feature, and auto-shutoff. The average price for small coffee makers is usually between $15.00 and $30.00.

When you’re looking to purchase a small coffee maker you will have a few different types to choose from. If you have very limited counter space in your home or office, you may want to purchase an under the cabinet coffee maker, which can easily be mounted under most cabinets. If you are a person that travels in a camper or RV these under the cabinet coffee makers are particularly useful because you can also mount them to the cabinets of your camper or RV. If you have no desire to move your coffee maker, but just want some extra space on your counter top then you may want to purchase one of the space saver small coffee makers. These are the same as the usual coffee makers except that they are compact and will save you lots of room. These little space savers can supply you with a one cup brew up to a 12 cup brew. They are also very convenient to have at your office.

Sometimes referred to as 1-cup coffee makers, these machines brew into a thermal mug that can be transported if desired, making these the perfect option for those that commute to work. I am an avid coffee drinker, and I tend to collect coffee makers. I have tried so many of them, some I liked some I did not, but I always keep a couple on the counter. A larger pot for mornings and for when we have company and a small one like this one for during the day, when I am alone drinking coffee. What I like about it, is that I make just what I can drink at the time so I always have fresh coffee. Your article is right on.
