How To Clean Your UPVC Windows

Upvc windows look very nice when they are new, after some time they can start to look tired and discoloured because of the sun, inclement weather and external forces. Do not use bleach to clean any of your upvc windows. A lot of people tend to use bleach to clean their upvc windows this tends to make the discolouration worse and sometimes leaves a yellow tint which can be hard or nearly impossible to remove.
The best solution to use for cleaning the frames of your upvc windows is white spirit, White spirit can also be used for cleaning paint brushes and removing paint, If you have ever had painters working in your house you will probably have noticed them putting their paint brushes in containers with white spirit to clean them .you can find this solution in all major diy stores. When applying the white spirit you will need a clean rag or cloth, open the white spirit container by turning the cap anti-clockwise. Scrunch the cloth or rag into a ball and hold it tight against the opening of the white spirit container.tip up the white spirit container until the rag or cloth absorbs some of the white spirit solution being careful not to get it onto your skin. White spirit is an irritant so it is advisable to wear a pair of gloves and safety glasses when cleaning your upvc windows to protect your eyes and hands.
Apply the cloth or rag with the solution onto your upvc window frame using a forward and backwards motion applying pressure as you go starting at the top of the window and working your way down cleaning the upvc window frame. By using white spirit to clean your upvc windows you will find that it brings back a deep shine and makes them look new again
