Making A Moose Antler Chandelier

Whether you have a cabin by the water or you just enjoy a more traditional and outdoorsy look in home décor, a moose antler chandelier may be the perfect addition. By following a chandeliers guide you can actually make your own custom made antler chandelier right at home. It will actually be pretty simple to do and what a great accessory to show off to your guests.
The first step is to gather all the materials you need together. If you are a hunter you may have a set of moose antlers on hand already and if not you can find some easily enough. Now you need to decide on the type of chandelier to use with it. You can choose pretty much any style of lighting you want to work with your moose antlers.
Just make sure you have enough space to properly mount your antlers so there is no worry of them falling off once you set your chandelier up. Other supplies you will need include some glue, a saw and sandpaper.
Before you start gluing anything together it is important to set things up and see how it looks. You may need to cut pieces of the antlers off here and there to make things fit right. The sandpaper will help by smoothing off any rough edges you hack off.
Try to arrange the antlers in a sort of circular arrangement so they cover the entire chandelier. It should almost look as though the antlers are facing up and wrapping around the chandelier for the nicest effect. If you want to add an extra bit of pizazz to it you can always spackle on some paint or gloss it up with some clear stain.
There are moose antlers chandeliers you can purchase pre-made but it is much more fun and personalized getting to make it from scratch yourself.
Moose antler chandeliers are more than just a lighting accessory they are truly a work of art. It will definitely be a focal point in your home and it will have everyone talking.
