Do you need to aerate the soil in your garden but you don’t have a lawn aerator? Well, you can rent a lawn aerator. However, there are lots of things to consider when renting lawn aerator. In this article, we will share to you some tips that you may use for aerator rentals. This includes where to rent an aerator, price for an aerator, and the best type of aerator to rent that you should choose.
Small Aerator Rental Shop
There are lots of shops where you can rent a lawn aerator, but I recommend you to rent lawn aerator on small aerator rental shop rather than large shops. Why? Because small rental shops offers aerator rental for cheaper price than large shops price. Also, small shops are not as strict as large shops when it comes to the policies of returning. Furthermore, if you rent to small rental shops you are helping them to stay in their business. It’s a way of supporting small business. Isn’t it great that you have already saved some money and at the same time you have helped their business?
Aerator Rental Prices
Renting a loan aerator is quite expensive. Prices vary depending on the locations, and also it on how many hours you will rent on aerator. The cheapest aerator that you can rent is about $ 35 and the most expensive lawn aerator rental is about $ 60 per hour. If you want to save money you might want to find a neighbor or a friend that might share the expenses with you, the longer you rest a lawn aerator the less that you have to pay. An average price for 2 hours is about $ 50 while resting them for a day will cost you an average of $ 100.
Best Time to Aerate your Lawn
You can aerate your lawn anytime you want, all year round because there is never really a bad time to aerate a lawn except for winter of course. However, I could say that the best time to aerate a lawn is in spring or fall or every dry season. Well aerating a lawn depends on your location and the type of lawn you have.
Best Type of Aerator to Rent
The best type of aerator that you might want to rent is a mechanical loving lawn aerator, a heavy machine that can pull core out of the ground as they go using its rear times. There are different brand of this type. The best that I can recommend is my personal favorite – Ryan lawn aerator, it is easy to control and less likely to break. You can also rent a copy of it, a Claussen.
If you want to save some money, the best type of aerator that you should rent is Blue Bird. The problem with Blue Bird aerators is that it will over on steep hills and hot so smooth start and shopping, but you can turn it easily even with the time is in the ground. If you have budget, you can rent the most expensive lawn aerator of all; the Billy Goat lawn aerator, it is very neat machine however it is really very heavy that it’s hard to maneuver in small areas and hills.
