Three Types Of Outdoor Lighting

Are you thinking about adding some new outdoor lights to your backyard patio or deck? Tired of all the bland spot lights and flood lights that haunt your back yard? If the answer to these questions is yes then it is time to look at some types of outdoor lights that you might want to think about purchasing for your backyard.
The first type of light fixture that we are going to be talking about is outdoor sconces. These are often overlooked as most people think that they are either too expensive or are too hard to install because the wire goes into the wall. A solution to this is the solar outdoor sconce, this type of sconce is relatively cheap and easy to install as well. The reason that they are cheaper is because there is no wiring or transformers leading into the wall like other sconces have, and it is easier to install because all that you have to hang the bracket on the wall and bolt the sconce to it.
The next type of outdoor light fixture is the chandelier. The chandelier is a vital outdoor accessory if you are trying to light up a area that is hard to without using four or more small lights. Plug in mini chandeliers are great to use in gazebos, under awnings, under canopies, under deck patios and above hot tubs that have roofs. These type of chandeliers are easy to use because the only type of wiring that you have to do is run the wire from the chandelier to maybe an extension cord and then to the outlet.
The third type of outdoor light is the string light. These are great lights for hanging on rails and poles that other lights would not otherwise be able to be hung from. These are also great lights to put up in trees during the holiday season as they add certain elements of holiday spirit to the mix.
