Most people are running low on storage space in their rooms and have little budget to do anything about it. For these people there had been no help for a long time other than to try and keep their clothes folded neatly so that they take up less space. The goods news is that there is currently a cheap and good solution to these storage problem: stackable storage cubes. These are versatile and light-weight storage solutions that would put a dent in your pocket.
Getting rid of the clutter in your most immediate surroundings is more important than you would think. One of the leading causes for stress and depression is the lack of order in one’s life, and it can be linked to a lot of things being left around in your living environment. If your desk is full of papers, pens, cookie boxes, you won’t have any space left to do your job. Similarly, if you have too much junk in your home, you will not enjoy being in a cluttered space.
This is where storage cubes help a lot with their unmatched simplicity and ingenious design that allows them to swallow everything you may have to throw at them. One cube is usually about twenty inches on each side and about 5 cubic feet inside. The hardwood board walls are usually an inch thick, so they don’t crack too often under the pressure of three more levels stacked on top.
Another great thing people often mention about stackable storage cubes is that they’re modular. The size is standard within a brand which allows them to sell drawers and shelves that fit the cubes perfectly. It’s not only a convenient way to transform individual blocks into something else, but they’re cheap and easy to install as well.
For those who have a lack of storage space such a cube can be a godsend, but don’t think they’re without issues. The most important drawback is that they’re only compatible with each other, so if you’re planning on further expanding the set, you need to hunt down the original manufacturer again. Although for some people this might not be a real issue, others might want to stack up on a few extra cubes for any replacement.
