Chandelier shades can be made of glass or crystal, or with fabrics such as silk and linen. The most common room for people to use a chandelier in is a dining room. Often they are hung over the dinner table to provide light and decor to the eating area. Another popular kind of chandelier are those made with candles inside instead of light bulbs. Candles give off a soft light that is difficult to achieve with most electric lights. Mini chandeliers can be the perfect addition to small bedrooms. They give the space a sense of elegance without being totally overwhelming in their size. They can also provide just the right lighting for a smaller space as apposed to their full-sized counterparts, which could supply far too much.

Whatever chandelier shades you decide to use for your home, make sure that the style matches your tastes well, because it will most likely be the center of attention for many of your guests. When people walk into the room, this lighting fixture will probably be the first thing that they notice. You can also personalize the chandeliers even further by changing the colors surrounding them. If you are using one that is made of crystal, the surrounding colors will effect the light that it will give off.
